Hi guys I'm new to the forum having just found it from a link in a group I'm a regular participant in. I was recently handed an s200 to service, and after removing the cylinder ends (the rings were like hard plastic they'd been in that long)
What I shall describe as the aluminium 'plenum' at the 'block end' was rattling around loose, still in the threads but very loose with lock ring halfway down its threads. From experience I know how sensitive the s400s etc are to the firing pot extension (by association the knock open valve tension) I was wondering how much the s200s are affected by this plenum being set incorrectly.
Is there a 'standard' stand off? The thing would probably have fallen into the cylinder after much longer. I have trawled this forum using search and advanced Search, but not know the common or proper term for the tube, had no success.
Any ideas?

Re: S200 cylinder internals
Raj is your man on anything S200, not heard much from him lately
If you go to airarms S200 schematics you will see all the parts and code numbers
Raj did do something on here about setting one up, but that's all I can recall
Sorry I can't help more.
