I just taken delivery of what must be one of the last s200s in .177 in the country. So far delighted with the gun. I’ve fitted the 10 shot adaptor which is working well along with a hawke scope, and also have a Q-Tec silencer. My question is about the silencer. When you remove the plastic shroud there is a groove for the grub screw on the top of the barrel. The qtec silencer slides on further than the shroud, though. Any advice as to whether I should fit the silencer with the grub screw aligned with the groove or slide it on as far as it will go and tighten the grub screw up on the barrel?
Sorry the question is so basic.
With best wishes
S200 new owner very basic question
Re: S200 new owner very basic question
If you tighten it up to the barrel will it leave a visible mark if you go back to the original shroud ? If it does I would go with the groove option.

Many thanks. I opted for the groove as you both suggested. Now just getting used to the gun. I’ve been filling to 190 as the manual suggests but I think I will change to 175 as that seems to be where the gun settles down.
