Hi, I bought a s400 classic two weeks ago, and from the the first shot it made a pinging noise.
This does not effect the guns accuracy. I have a mpr and i have never herd any noise from that one.
Is this anything to worry about? or will it get better with with use. I would appreciate a reply from anyone
who might have had the same problem. Just to add this gun brand new.

I wouldn't worry about it, just the hammer spring, quite a few do it

Its nothing to worry about. The pinging is air bouncing in the cylinder. You can buy anti pingers that are cones that fit into the cylinder its self
Did I mention that I'm the only one to have attended EVERY meet since we started
Re: aa s 400 classic
Thank you for all the replies. As this is a brand new gun. I emailed air arms and they told me to
send the gun back to them as it should not be making a pinging noise. So hopefully they will
solve the problem.
