Finally did it!!

Finally felt brave enough to strip my 410 tdr down to its main components. Any advice on what to do now re cleaning, replacing etc. The pot looks a bit ropey but hoping to wire wool it. Which bits need lubing? Does the inside of cylinder need any?

Any thoughts greatly appreciated

Just the usual clean and polish the hammer rail no need to lube inside cylinder, and I degrease the trigger sears and leave dry, others might use a lube on the sears, but I tend not too

All done and back together. Bit disappointed though as after all that the FPS only increased by around 10?!

But hopefully more consistent, .22 or .177

22. Will do a full string tomorrow but I was so happy that it worked and didn’t leak that I didn’t think to fire more than 10 through it. Good experience though and has definitely removed my fear of tinkering. It was shooting at a good 10 and a bit fp so to stay the same is still great. It’s a nice little gun and I do enjoy it

What pellets 16gr AADF ?
I've been trying out JSB RS these are 13. 43gr faster and flatter
My TDR seems to like them, and also very consistent, might be worth a try

18gn aa field heavy. Giving around 10.5 fpe. I like them and they are heavy hitting and accurate. I’ll try the others too Thoth and see how they do in my gun. As they’re lighter will they still deliver a good whack at 30/35yds as my understanding is that the fpe will be lower?

Yes, they certainly will and further
One of mine is doing a 10 shot string at 130bar 600 to 603fps
The other does 617-618fps at 130bar, but was doing 624-626 at 150bar
So turned it down a touch, now 617-619 am happy with that
