Adjustable butt pad for Prosport

Been looking for an adjustable butt pad solution. The Rowan one is no doubt very well made but:
(a) It's aluminium and my rifle has all polished brass fittings (their trigger and guard - excellent stuff)
(b) it's quite thick and adds about half an inch to the reach
(c) I'm not 100% keen on the fiddly adjustment
(d) my stock isn't either of the size options offered.

Clearly (d) can be rectified by buying the biggest one and shaping to fit. And (a) can be rectified by having the aluminium anodised. However, may as well make it myself by this stage...

So, made a dovetail slide version in brass. The bits that are visible when adjusted have been machine texturised, and the edges highly polished. It's half the thickness of the Rowan one.

Thanks for the feedback - yes it was the 'in keeping' that drove me to make instead of buy.
