' I've made sure the cylinder is empty but .........'
Keith
I suspect that my Alfa pistol is leaking air, just like yours, and I might well need to unscrew the cylinder and check the seals.
How, exactly, did you ensure that there was no air left in the cylinder? The manual describes how to empty the air by firmly pushing the cocking buttons fully forward, but this technique doesn't seem to work on my pistol - despite pushing really hard against the stops!
Thanks

Here's an update to my last post:
I've found the leak - It's a pinhole on the air cylinder itself. I'll try to seal it. My initial thoughts are Araldite. Can anyone suggest anything better?

Re: Air Arms Alfa Proj Air Cylinder Removal.
Not sure if you have had a reply but it looks similar to the problem we have had with an internal o ring fail
We have un done the hex bolts at the top and lifted that off. A very small o ring is in the centre and replacing that has resolved the problem
Hope this helps

Re: Air Arms Alfa Proj Air Cylinder Removal.
What size is the 'o' ring on the centre proble in the air cylinder?
Re: Air Arms Alfa Proj Air Cylinder Removal.
Undoubtedly a little late, but for future reference the full specification is:
'3x1.5 O RING 70 SHURE'
