Don't you just love it when you go to the trouble of answering someone's question and you get zero response? Bad manners, or what?

I guess I'm a bit of a know-it-all, and sometimes spout a load of rubbish, but I'd rather someone put me straight than say nothing at all. And sometimes I actually know what I'm talking about. So is it just me, or do others get equally p1ssed off?

You just never know what the other persons circumstances are.
I tend to air on the side that allow people to get back to me in their own time. Some forums are jumping up and down if you don’t answer within the hour.

Not everybody has either the time or access to post replies almost straight away.
It's enough for most people (myself included) to know I have made a contribution whether it's crap or good.
It's almost like looking for plaudits for taking part.
