I bought single allen key button hex head stainless steel screws from an engineering firm near Huddersfield, (accu.co.uk/5precision-screws) these were around 16mm in length i ground cut them to different sizes ranging from 13.4mm to 13.6mm from the head of the button screw to the point on tapered end , tapered end goes in the transfer port obviously. Wrap a small amount of ptfe around the thread (not near the tapered end) and once in it never ever moves, they is even a small punch dot on the button head for reference to check for movement (but it never moves) iv placed a small amount of solder in the hex head and shaped it and its just the same as looking at the original shear bolt, you cant tell the difference, but if you need to ever remove it you can just get a dentist tooth pick tool and pull/pick the solder out to expose the hex head, the solder wont stick its just squashed in the hex head, also that never moves. Its quite brilliant if i may say so myself. Do you have trouble with accuracy or ever had with the barrel band when tightening the dust cap, moving the barrel shroud slightly to the left? If so check my ytube video "john Hookway delta Stryker scope" s510 maintenance tip

I found with my rifle that 1/2 turn of the venturi screw made a difference of at least a ftlb so getting the screw length right must be a labour of love and patience.
I prefer a new screw with the plastic friction patch and a security torx cap.

Yes it took some time, and the slightest spin on the grind wheel was enough to make a difference, 13.6mm was more or less to were it came set from aa i found.
