Does anyone have any idea how to remove the spring, or can give help

All I remember is, it's the pin with the hole, at the top rear of the receiver, that needs removing. There is a set screw on the side that keeps it in place. I tapped the end plug with a rubber mallet and pulled the trigger back at the same time. The pin popped up enough to get hold of, but it is a job for a patient person. Not the easiest gun to work on, unless you have some experience. Unless the spring is broken, there will be some pre-load as well. Be very careful with the trigger unit because it's a real pain if it's parts fall out.

Many thanks I have taken the side pin out and the pin that comes out through the rear sight so it's just a case of tapping out the rear sight holder and pulling the trigger
