I have just seen my 1st swallow of the year. The oil seed rape in the fields have started to show signs of flowering and I cut my lawn twice in the last week. These are some of my signs to tell me summer is on the way.
Does anybody else have any way of telling yourself summer is starting.

SWMBO had me Sandtexing the patio manhole cover. Overnight thunderstorm. It now looks like bubble wrap.
