I went for a walk around a permission yesterday and was gutted to see so many rabbits with myxomitosis. I was able to pick up 4 of them and put them out of their misery. There were others I saw that were carrying the disease but still OK to run away. The owner did not want any of them shot until the autumn. After what I saw there will be very few left after the autumn. I think this pemission will be left unshot this year.
At least the foxes will get a couple of easy meals.
Is anybody elses permissions suffering from this awful disease.

Re: Absolutely gutted
Comes and goes on a few of mine. I tend to shoot them all as quick as possible so that they can build back up.
