i have two airguns, the tx-200 with a bushnell elite 3200 5x15x40 and an rws-54 with a bushnell elite 3200 4x12x40...a few months ago the 4x12x40 stopped focusing for distance and then one day i shot it and the entire eyepiece fell out the rear...i purchased the scope 12-15 years ago for about $300 +/- and figured they didn't make it anymore so i googled them and found out the elite's come with a repair or replace warranty so i sent it in 3 weeks ago...
today they inform me that they can't fix it and since they no longer make the 3200 they're sending me a BRAND NEW elite 4500 4x16x40 with the side adustment, retail $599.00...the person i spoke with just said "i hope you get years of good service out of it" and i'm sure i will...
i am impressed...talk about a no hassle experience in a warranty department...i'll be singing their song for years to come...zp...

i've always purchased good quality for myself and family but i do remember not too many years ago when any "warranty" claim for any item (toaster to lunar excursion vehicle) was responded to by the warranty department with either bone chilling indifference by a person that didn't speak the language or every time i called i would get different person and have to start over until they recognized my phone number and just stopped answering...i got none of that with bushnell...
i have several bushnell scopes and my spotting scope is a bushnell, the 4x12x40 is the only one to have a problem and it was on the rws-54...the bushnell elite 5x15x40 on the tx-200 has gone through two springs and countless sleeves of jsb exacts...no problem...zp...

My first S200 came with a nice Bushnell fitted. A couple of years later, not knowing what I was doing, I 'sold' it as a package when I changed my Mark 2 S200 from .22 to .177.

it truly was how they conducted themselves on the phone as much as their decision to expedite me a new scope...clear and concise...and every guy i spoke with understood me in spite of my manner of speaking which is heavily carlinesque...can't wait to slap that baby on the 54...zp...
