Re: digital scales pellet weighing
I bought a set in a local head shop for the princely sum of seven pounds,it seemed they were the only safe item in there, everything else being labeled "not for human consumption".They're best not left lying around, the authorities might get the wrong idea.
Re: digital scales pellet weighing

Mother in laws bathroom scales? Weigh to the nearest kilo but only go to 200 so no use any more.

I bought a set off eBay for £6.25 with the intention of whiling away my sick leave weighing pellets to give me every advantage of giving my cousin an age old butt kicking, but I have to say it was money wasted. One pellet at 7.33g weighed 7.1 7.2 7.4 and happily changed everytime I touched the scales..

Drift can be a problem with electronic scales price does not come into it drift is a problem. Of course the more you spend the more reliable they are going to be. I was told switch them on and let them warm up before use I use an old fashion beam balance when I want accuracy. When I worked in the lab we never switched the our electronic balances off until the Christmas holidays, that improved the accuracy.

Re: digital scales pellet weighing
I use a RCBS 1010 balance scale. It has enough dampening to give good results when weighing pellets. My electronic scale is so sensitive that it drives me up the wall if I'm too impatient to let it settle down. Because of this, I tend to use the balance beam type scale more often. Mine's good to.01 grains.
