Sadly folks gun laws in the UK are about to get much tighter thanks to the EU. In December 2015, the EU passed alterations to EU forearm legislation. It becomes law here in the UK on the 8th April this year. For instance, semi-auto .22 rifles may become illegal on this date. UK Parliament has yet to confirm that it will accept and effect all the measures detailed, but the UK Government has already rejected a heavily supported a petition against the raft of new legislation saying, "we will not oppose EU legislation. This new EU legislation even bans the ownership of many types of deactivated historic weapons.
