Hi!
First post here. Just getting back into hunting after 30 years and finding my Vulcan Deluxe not quite as accurate as I remember - not sure if it's the .22 imperial issue or me! I'm looking around for a cheap pcp. Have found a S300 to look at later today - anyone have experience of these? They seem to have a good rep but I see there werre numerous updates and mods. What should I look for in a s/h pcp rifle or the s300 in particular? Am quite prepared to send it back to Sussex for a tune-up but some basics would be good to know.

Good condition and shoots well is all you need to look for. Everything else can be sorted easily.

Hi first time on the forum so hello everybody.Just read the post about the s300.I bought one of these at the weekend(sold an r10mk2 to fund this and also buy another springer). Before I did this I asked a chap I know, who has had an s300 for donkeys years about them.He told me that unless it was a complete basket case, those that are still about tend to be very well sorted. After spending the morning with it,I think I should have done it years ago.Anyway, best of luck with it.
