Q-Tec moderator

Hello after purchasing a S410 that came with a q-tec moderaror I've been trying to undo it so to get to the internals, I've tried an air dryer heating each end but won't budge. It does look as though each end will unsrew but I'm having no joy. I want to try and improve it to match the HW moderator as looks better without an adaptor. Anyone done this or know how to to do it ? Many thanks.

I though the Q, tec and all air arms mods were held on by a small hex screw, you simply undo the hex-screw with the correct size hex key. or the adapter is held on the barrel by a hex-screw. You should just undo the hex screw and remove it. Were, the HW mod is half inch UNF thread and screws strait onto the already screw cut barrel.

I find the HW mod the best on the market to date, excellent mod if every regard.

I've got the mod of the gun no problems, I'm trying to get into the moderator internals to seeif i can improve it. The Hw is quitier but would prefer the q-tec lookswise, I can't get the end caps undone
