Well after a break from owning air arms guns Ive just bought a 400 Carbine in .177
Ordered on credit (15 pounds a month) comes with a decent scope and silencer
I had a .22 Superlite version years ago and I kinda regretted selling that . Ive also had a 410 but the stock (CS) was just too nice to take hunting and I fancied a .177
My old 400 was certainly as accurate as any other gun Ive owned and Ive owned quite a few different ones over the years in PCP
I was going to buy second hand but after buying a few PCP's which had been messed about with by previous owners fiddling I thought Id treat myself and get some thing I know is factory specification and has a guarantee
I had narrowed my choice down to Webley raider, A200/400 and Hatsan BT65 but my previous 400 swayed my choice
Once weather improves around March Ill get out hunting again, got some flyers done and a couple of others I know who are keen shooters are going to come so should be nice and social.

Re: 400
Sounds like a great plan. Fill your location in, as it would be great to know where your from.

Done , from Isle of Wight still plenty of rabbits about on several shoots although some seem barren , game keeper I spoke to recons a new disease about , not mxy dont see much of that at all. That said one shoot i have is about an acre or so and I shot 27 rabbits there this year. Been shooting fifty or so rabbits a year for last two years .
First year 2012 I shot 116 rabbits .
I think less rabbits is probably due to amount of trips but also a few less about now.
I have given up two shoots , one bought a guard dog which ran loose and followed me about barking - not ideal for hunting
Another shoot owner has just built a home there and kids and dogs about all the time
Some of the smaller shoots have been the best in my experience
