S410 Xtra FAC mod adaptor

Hi all,

Recently purchased an Air Arms S410 Xtra FAC, .22, standard barrel.

I've got a slot on my FAC for a mod and was debating which one to get, The Air Arms one just simply screws into the barrel, however, a Weihrauch mod (1/2" UNF) would need an adaptor.

So, two questions really:

1) Is the Weihrauch such a superior moderator that it's worth a bit of hassle to find an adaptor and go with that, or is the Air Arms mod very comparable to it, so I should just save myself the grief.
2) If so, does anyone know what adaptor I need? It looks like the barrel of the Xtra FAC is shrouded as I purchased (in anticipation of getting an S410) a 10mm adaptor from JS Ramsbottom, but it doesn't fit by quite some margin. I didn't realise there would be a difference between the non FAC and FAC models.

I have a 410 extra but don't find the need for a moderator. The shroud has enough baffles to reduce noise.

I would say for hunting yes use a moderator, if like me its for comp shooting there's no real need for one.
