I saw a pair of Buzzards getting mobbed by a group of crows tonight, I watched for around 15 min`s at some fairly high altitudes they were time & time again dive bombed & generally harangued, thing is, this must be 12-15th time I`ve watched Buzzards get, well, their backsides kicked by mainly crows, but seagulls too!
other than sat surveying the immediate area or swooping past in rural locations looking to scavenge (I think) I ONLY EVER see them getting well, again harangued & generally not tolerated by other birds?
Sparrowhawks & Kestrels are tiny by comparison but I`ve never seen them bullied, though I suspect they may be too quick?
what`s the point of being a raptor if your not capable of kicking ass some times?
Buzzards info? can anyone help out?

i have seen this too. crows using strength in numbers. any creature can be over run by smaller ones if enough. in a forest by myself i seen small rodents being over run and killed by ants. raptors are no different.

In my experience most birds of prey get mobbed by corvids, I've always been of the opinion that its a way of dissuading a competing species from hanging around too long in their territory. Corvids and raptors will both scavange as well as hunt chicks and other easy pickings and hence are never going to be the best of neighbours

The first principle is that you must not fool yourself and you are the easiest person to fool
