I've just been looking at the Altaros website at the pressure gauge & quickfill units & notice that they are either PSI or MPa.
Are these pressures taking over from Bar or is it just a European favourite?
If they had any measured in Bars I would have treat myself at these prices.

Re: Altaros S200 Pressure Gauge
These are what I'm wanting to fit to my cz200 colour when it arrives. The cz colour allready has a gauge fitted so I'm hoping to figure out which one to buy soon. I'm sure "Ouch" will be along soon to put us all in the picture.

As you'll have a cylinder with gauge fitted you could go for the Altaros quick fill unit & add your gauge to it, it only adds 4mm to the cylinder.

Re: Altaros S200 Pressure Gauge
An even better solution would be to buy two, one for my new cz200 without gauge and one for the s200 with gauge then it makes the refilling of both rifles a lot simpler.
OR I might even purchase a larger cylinder, fit that to my cz when it comes and put the one I take off onto the s200 as the original is looking a bit shabby

Re: Altaros S200 Pressure Gauge
Bought a couple of these a while back to fit to the s200 and cz200.
I wasn't sure whether to fit them as my Hammerli has a s200 quick fill on and so does the s200(obviously). Really Id like all three of these to have the same quick fill but I thought I'd fit the Alavros gauge quick fills anyway just to see how they work. Now when CZ tighten their cylinders, boy do they tighten their cylinders!
I've spoke to Ouch on a different forum about this and I've just had another go tonight. Flipping heck man! They must weld them in the factory

Hi tight is not the word for it, almost took the vice off the bench. Then got a large cloth and soaked in boiling water and wrapped round the tube, waited for a few minutes and it still took a 2' lever to shift it. Once cracked then only finger tight.
Best of luck.
Cheers.
Geoff.

Re: Altaros S200 Pressure Gauge
I recently bought an extended cylinder from CZ & an Altaros quick fill without gauge.
I took them both to a local Gunsmith, he was going to give my S200 a full service including trigger polish so while he had the rifle I asked if he could fit the new cylinder & gauge together for me.
Well, I bet you've guessed it.
Try as he might he could not get the original gauge off the extended CZ cylinder. He had a cylinder removal tool from XTX with a huge set of stillsons on it, tried applying heat to it but nothing would move it.
He finally gave up when the gauge needle started to bend due to the heat.
The outcome was, he fitted the Altaros quick fill to my original cylinder with a new gauge (the Air Arms quick fill was easier to remove).
So now I have my original cylinder with quick fill & gauge & an extended cylinder with a bent needle which is now wrapped in bubble wrap on a shelf in the garage!
The Altaros quick fill & gauge seems to be working okay but I think the small black plastic filling adaptor is a bit fragile looking, I should really have just gone for the unit from XTX which is a lot more solid & uses the brass BSA filler.
