I think I overdid it last night .... even by my very high alcohol abuse standards
We screened the 2012 film - Angel's Share on our home cinema last night. About a dozen folks turned up - couples, gents and ladies. They all brought some whiskey with them. I can only remember half the film, didn't eat any dinner, cant remember going upstairs to bed. Complete blank

Well I should like to say hello, so.... hello. May I have a large gin and tonic please, ice but, no lemon, thank you kindly. Please take for whatever the two kind gentlemen whom replied to my culinary question would like, Messers Timmytree and Raj if I recall correctly.
Re: A stiff one
Thank you young man, a swift glass of beer would be rather nice. Wait til the one eyed barmaid has washed her hands though, she's been cleaning the bogs.
Re: A stiff one
I was rather expecting cider for a chap from Somerset but, let that be a lesson unto us all in the danger of making assumptions.
A glass of beer it is together with a toast to your very good health, happiness and prosperity, whilst hoping that the barmaid has suitably abluted post her water closet exertions.
