some species of shark eat one another in the WOMB!!!
sand tiger sharks for eg, the strongest foetus will eat other smaller ones & usually only 2 will survive to birth!
great white`s are another species that do this,
that is horrific! I`ve gone right off sharks for life :(

An industrious worker bee may visit 2,000 flowers per day, she may live for just three weeks.

the Japanese Honey Bee evolved in conjunction with the (MUCH larger) Japanese Hornet, the Jap` bee takes longer to produce less honey than a European bee (which has had little or no experience of Jap` Hornets-bear with me here, this is interesting, I promise)
if a Jap` Hornet discovers a Euro` hive it will return with more & more Hornets simply picking off bees at will, it`s own hive explodes with pupae which feed & grow on Euro` bees -vicious circle (& horrific to watch BTW) BUT, if a Jap` Hornet discovers a Jap` bee hive, if it lands for a wee peek, the Japanese Bees have a plan, one (poor wee bugger) steps haltingly toward the Hornet then back, then forward etc etc, enticing the Hornet into the hive proper, once in far enough the Japanese bee allows itself to be caught & takes a stinger for the hive tying up the Hornets attention & stinger, only then, it`s pals, maybe 20/30 all pile onto the two of them completely covering them in a `ball` of bees, then, vibrating their wings all at once generates heat, lots of heat, & they literally cook the bugger to death!
