The best example of a rum cocktail I ever tasted was in Bermuda. It is called Dark & Stormy. The Rum provides the 'Dark' while the ginger beer makes it 'stormy'.
40% Gosling's Black Seal Rum http://www.amazon.co.uk/Goslings-Black- ... B009M2K9Z8
60% Goslings Ginger beer http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00AFEOGEM/r ... 4KBQGPNCC0
Poured gently together over crushed ice
Bliss 8-) 8-) 8-)

These ingredients are usually hard to find here in the UK though that Amazon deal looks OK.... so the 2nd best alternative would be

40% Capt. Morgan Original Spiced Gold Rum
60% Old Jamaican EXTRA FIERY Ginger beer
Crushed ice

On warm summer evenings like this, it makes a brilliant sun downer while listening to old school roots reggae :) :) :)

Raj i think you remember very little of that night. You had drunk so much that they were trying to get you to chuck up,hence the rum and ginger. :o
