What's it to be lads, in or out?

if this forum`s anything to go by- we`re safe-why is it a close call according to the press?
everyone I speak to is OUT! my wife is out my kids are out my friends are out, is the general populace of UK waiting to trip us all up?
(on reading that back, my friends, wife & kids haven`t `come out` BTW!)

The problem is that our forum and others aren't representative of the majority of the population. We are in the main, a responsible and sensible section of society, but a minority.
The majority are stupid, out of touch with reality and have no idea of the real situation. That majority is made up of jobless or educationally inadequate people who shouldn't be allowed a vote and MPs or ruling classes who shouldn't be allowed to breathe. People who watch "reality" and "talent" shows.
MPs have always displayed contempt for the wishes of intelligent voters, they have their own agendas as "Dave" and his ilk have shown so many times, our views are wrong and not important if the leaders don't agree so forget democracy, you will have a dictatorship whether you like it or not, You may not live in North Korea but you will be dictated to and you will put up with whatever they decide.
I don't know about other peoples reasons for wanting out of Europe but for me it is about control of our own country, control of our money and our own borders. We choose who we want in, not just accept anyone who makes it to Calais or Turkey or Greece. This country has a proud tradition of welcoming immigrants by choice, but not by force. Look back to WW2, Polish and other immigrants were welcomed here, accepted and integrated, married into our society and had families. they have become part of our country and we are rightly proud of them and support them. Later immigrants brought skills and talent from around the world, they embrace our culture, blend in with our way of life and yet respect our differences, as we do theirs. Too many of the new arrivals are "takers" who just want to get the best from our economy and then depart, just look at the Romanians claiming child benefit for children in their own country, that money pays for luxury houses in their own country, exploiting the slave wages system that exists in countries that should never be allowed to have joined the EU in the first place!
I don't know which way this vote will go, I want out, will vote out, but I fear there are enough waverers, idiots and sycophants out there to keep us under the heel of Germany and France. Germany will at last achieve what they couldn't do in war and France will stick two fingers up to the allies that have fought with them but also protected them for hundreds of years.
Whichever way the vote goes, it's our children and grandchildren that will inherit the mess and have to deal with it.
Poor kids!
If we don't get out our country will be a hotch potch of discordant races and religions, low wages, high crime, all presided over by a so called "high class" elite of politicians who will have no idea of reality but no lack of money.
They will be fine, ordinary people will suffer. Nothing new there then?

my point exactly TT, them that want us to remain are totally unaffected by migrants, they do not influence THEIR lives one iota. whilst we at the sharp end are left footing the bill & dealing with THEIR needs, anyone reading this doubt me? then have a look at where the Syrian refugees were housed in the UK-as far from lord & lady muck as they could find! & their building MORE homes on Rothesay to accommodate a new intake!

I agree. The only escape for me is getting into camo, going and lying in a field at sunset and pretending it is not happening. I know I am kidding myself but if feels good for the couple of hours I am out of everything they control.
