He's sent me for an xray in the morning and I have to see him again in a week, I'll know more then.

He's sent me for an xray in the morning and I have to see him again in a week, I'll know more then.

Well what a carry on this illness has been. The infection isnt responding well to anti- biotics and there is a complication apparently. Basicly Im no better now than I was when I got this fekin illness. Im on another course (number five now) of anti-biotics as my temperature is still wanging up into the 100's.

Ive got an emergency referral to be seen by a specialist in the chest clinic at my local hospital the RVI tomorrow. I hope he/she can shed some light on the matter.

I have been eating blueberries and banana's daily. Im fine while Im on the anti biotics, but i just nosedive once Ive finished the course.

Anyway, thanks for the good wishes chaps

Quick update......

I have fluid on my right lung where the infection is, a shadow on my lower left lung and pleurisy. The doc drained some fluid while I was there, not an experience I'm eager to repeat . Im on anti biotics for a month, then back in for a scan to see whats what. All in all Im quite happy how things went.
