Thanks for providing the update. I think someone at Woodview had called in but he may not be a member on here so hence no update. I'm a tad busy on the permission at the moment to be keeping tabs on what's happening at OL.

There was talk of only 10 spaces to shoot and 2 of those being for .22 rimfire for the pest control lads on Oaklodge when they needed them. So I can envisage the scenario as per live ammo clubs - limited bench time and then give way to the next man and wait your turn again. Nah not for me that kind of scenario. If there's no room at Woodview when I go I make room - I'm no shrinking violet as Zippy will attest - mind you neither is he  Fortune favours the bold as they say.

Plus if they are only going to open on one weekday then Woodview wins hands down as there is always room Tuesday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday are the busiest but that can vary too. I met some of the Swarland attendees the other week at Woodview and I hope we weekday lads made them feel welcome.

Thanks for the update. I've tried phoning Oaklodge myself on numerous occasions but never had anyone answer the phone yet. An email was going to be my next approach.
Another vote for Woodview mind as I'm more than happy going there. As has been said it does get busy especially on a weekend but I've never been when its so busy that its unshootable.

You have been a member at Woodview for a long time Steve, a well know Character of wit and humor.
It would seem Woodview has more to offer in the long run, with the easy going manner allowing one able too enjoy their shooting without all the interference, and ridiculous rules, as long as it is not spoiled by some idiots,,, it would seem a few selfish idiots ruin the shooting sport. However, this seems to happen in all aspects of life,,, like Driving, football ect, you always have the selfish idiots whom? spoil it. and making the law force more rules app-on us, as of their stupidity .... :(

I will be renewing my membership at Woodview 2016.

Kind regards Mick... :D
