a- I like the look of them, admittedly-I`ve never shouldered one, but then, I`ve never held a Purdey shotgun, & they`re £30K(+) a pair!
b-I thankfully can`t afford one as they ALL seem to be a kings ransom to buy-Hey Ho, that`s life!
c-I think the Pulsar go`s some way (short admittedly) of justifying the cost with the electronics & cutting edge technology included.
d-I think it`s the best looking, technically advanced Bullpup out there-I would have one in a jiffy if I could afford it.
e-UGLY? Yeah all those FT/HFT rifles are stunners-right? they`re designed to do a job! what`s wrong with this design? it does its job?
if only it was a grand less, I`d be saving now!

you could allways save longer. if you want a electronic daystate go for the airwolf mate. £600 cheaper. same electronics. same trigger. same barrel. better stock. infact the only thing I like better on the pulsar is the new mag system. you cant double load it. and the mag will only index after each shot. a blast of air from the shot sets the mag for the next shot. much better system imo. but is it worth the extra £600. I don't think so.

This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me my rifle is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless.

I really enjoyed my mk4, being able to smash a bunnies head at 100 yards was great fun. But I want to keen on the electronic trigger. That and the fact I sometimes have the problem of not keeping things charged. Was out ready to hunt more than once only to find my battery wad close to dead. I made the mistake of staggering away from the AA line of rifles.

I enjoy an actual trigger overt the electronic. The lock time is indeed faster, but we as mortal humans will never notice it honestly. The main thing work the electronics is that the rifle by nature is self regulating. But that comes at the cost of not being able to fiddle with your rifle. You ate set to the factory su points.

I don't any longer.

Locktime is in your mind.

Ray.

I have to disagree with you on that my friend. the electronic system by nature will shoot faster than a spring and hammer. it might not add up to much better shooting. but its defenatly faster imo.

Can you tell me the lock time of say a Steyr or any mechanical rifle compared to a Daystate electric offering. Lock time being taken from when the sear breaks to the pellet exiting the barrel.

Given that human reaction time is around 200 milleseconds.

An electronic trigger will still need a mechanical acutuator to release air, electronics only perform "on and off" thoughts, ie binary 1's and 0's, the electro mechanical valve is where the secret lies
personnally i like simple things in life and non of the daystates really float my boat i think there designed and priced for the upper class whohare bregade, sorry to offend any owners of said guns

it`s all worth watching (IMO) but scroll to 13.25 for the PULSAR if that`s all you want.

I'm lucky enough to have owned a Pulsar for quite some time now and I must say that I'm very happy with it. I bought the synthetic stock version and it didn't cost me anywhere near the £2k that is being quoted. There's not a lot of money around in the current economic climate and there are deals to be had. I've got an MTC Viper Connect 3-12x32 scope on it and a Huggett moderator. I've also fitted a small bipod. I find the Pulsar to be very easy to handle, extremely accurate, it's a pleasure to shoot. The magazine system is bullet proof. The only criticism I have of it is that the stock is made of cheap rubbish plastic, as is the hand grip. I've replaced the hand grip with an Israeli made grip that was designed an an aftermarket bit of kit for an AK47. For what it costs, Daystate really should have ensured that the stock and hand grip were of better quality. That being said, as stated, I am exceptionally happy with the performance of my Pulsar.
