Thanks everyone, I'm really looking forward to this break after all the crap of the last few years.
Jo and I are back at my place now, climbed Burrow Mump earlier, Ye Gods it was cold!!! A swift half in the King Alfred and now warm and comfy in my place for tonight, leaving early tomorrow morning for a slow drive and some sightseeing on the way. Sillery beach, here we come!!
A much needed break!

Re: A much needed break!
We've just got back to lechlade after our break, we had a fantastic time. We've walked miles and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. North Devon is beautiful but the highlight was the hotel. We booked a place called the Bonnicott House, a former rectory, what a gem! We had the most beautiful room with sea views and gorgeous shower.
Martin and Kyle, the two guys running the place were fantastic, did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Food was out of this world.
We've booked to go again in October for Jo's birthday.
For anyone wanting a break in a beautiful place with great service, try the Bonnicott.

I haven't forgotten Simon and I will get there I promise. But even you have to admit that a few days with the lovely Jo has certain advantages over male friends!!
