using an air measure is the only way you can accurately measure pellet size

Sounds sensible. A method that doesn't deform the pellet during the measuring process, not to mention the accuracy.

Their reply
"We manufacture only a few pellets in different head-sizes (Finale Match, Match, Baracuda Match, Field Target Trophy). They are made to the exact size. However, the head-size is something our workers have to check during and after the production of every pellet batch by taking random samples."
Hmmmm. Exact size? Never been done! Everything has a tolerance.
