New to the site no air rifles.

Mon Mar 23, 2015 2:53 pm

Been hunting all my life, mainly falconry now but have always hunted air rifles along with mates 22 rimmies and the odd 12 and 20 bore. Much prefer the deadly silent approach.
Started off with dads webley junior then moved on to 90k gas ram had two but yearned for a fenman. But boaght an evolution when it first came out. Though I was in such a hurry I just asked for the one in the cupboard that had the nicest looking woodwork that happened to be 177.
Only ever shooting 22 I was at first disappointed till I started shooting it. Never looked back then. Then bought my first pop an s400 a good 8 years ago or more.
Any way that's my intro.
Just thought I'd say hi as I just jump straight in with a question.

All the best ash

Thanks for the welcome,

I'm from London originally Kevin but have moved to sunny sussex and loving the countryside and sea. Though born a Londoner I think I was made for the country.

No one was made to live in London ... Even the Queen runs away from it a few times every year

Would dearly love to afford to return to north London......
Why be awkward, when with a bit of effort you can be really impossible!

My current job takes me there a lot. I work on Dacre Street and walk in the shadow the revolving triangle of Scotland Yard most days. Being from India and starting the feel the cold in my advancing years, I have been wrapping up well this winter. I cover most of my face with a hat and scarf so all you can see is my eyes. It is hilarious seeing the armed guards stiffen up as I approach because they cant tell if I have a beard and don't know what is in my bag 8-)
Always glad to get back to the countryside :)
