can I just point out to members regarding pictures

I`d no idea people can do this so please pay attention-
I`ve a photobucket account which I use for posting pictures on here, my daughter pointed out to me tonight that if people click on the picture, they can sometimes go into the photobucket account & can view all the pictures in there!
now, I`ve nowt to hide in mine, but there`s pictures of my family & pictures of my nephew & niece in there which I posted on AAOC,
ergo-online-pics of children-etc etc, I`m quite shocked & feeling a bit upset right now cos I didn`t know posting my pictures gave anyone else access to the account! like I said, not that I`ve out to hide, but, well, y`know! now you do!
edit:- Daughter says it`s not just photobucket but most other photo accounts, I thought you all should know!

I understand your concern it is worrying to think that people unknown to you can get access to your personal details.can you withdraw them and just limit your pics. to less personal images? You really shouldn't have to but I think I would anyway.

You can go into settings and make your album private.

Thanks for bringing that up Wastrel. I have noticed on another forum I used to use that more than one photo was available, admittedly I PM'ed them to let them know they were "sharing" more than they intended, but thankfully all were tasteful and proper so no blushes were necessary.
