Any form of meat can starve you.
It is protein starvation.

Apparently the worst is beaver.

Re: Rabbit meat-good or bad?
How ever good or bad eating rabbit meat is - one fact really stands out...
Not so good for the rabbit !
Not so good for the rabbit !
Why be awkward, when with a bit of effort you can be really impossible!
Re: Rabbit meat-good or bad?
I'm never sure what is the correct form of the expression: "everything in moderation", or "anything in moderation", but the bottom line is variety is good for us.

Best young, before they run to fat, wash thoroughly with soap and water, then anoint with some seasoning to take away the fishy aroma. Advisable to shave the pelt thoroughly or you can be picking fur out of your teeth for days

Re: Rabbit meat-good or bad?
We used to have a lot of cottontail rabbits when I was a boy and they do taste better than chicken. Mom would soak them in a bowl of saltwater overnight(in the fridge) before frying them up. We now have almost no rabbits due to the fact that any ground nesting birds or the rabbits are eaten alive by fire ants as soon as they're born.

As luck may have it, I had a whopping ribeye with chips at my funeral so I lived to tell the tale
