Hi Folks,

New to the forum and new to the S510. I have a couple of permissions nearby where I would like to do so ratting. My problem is I would like to attach an IR torch to the underside of the S510 where the front sling attachment is Torch is in a weaver?pic mount.

Anything out there to achieve this or any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Chris

I haven't done this on my S510 US but have on a HW110:
Fit bipod weaver rail adaptor including QD stud - fits over existing stud - then attached torch with existing weaver clamp or use suitable diameter weaver scope mount.

Can't understand why AA fit a rail that has no accessories other than sling stud and hampster, and no fiitings/adaptors to take other kit. Or maybe someone else has found something?

I've just ordered a vertical slide for my lathe, so I can do some milling, then I might look at making some fittings.

Hi
I would encourage anyone on the forum to post such queries to AA. In my experience - and I can quote you a specific example - they do listen to comments and suggestions. Plse word it in a constructive rather than critical manner for they are human after all. They may not act on it as there is a lot to be weighed in making any change to a gun that is already in production - including significant costs if they need to retool or reprogram their CNC machines.

Sending feedback to the forum is fine but as a group we can make no practical difference. Providing feedback to AA is the only way they will be aware of your views and suggestions. And try to remember Mrs Thatcher's mantra - if you bring me a problem do try to bring a suggestion for a solution also. Not always possible but more helpful if you can do so than just passing on a problem, altho that of itself has value in its own right.

If they do listen it would be good if they replied. I only get answers to simple questions not suggestions. If you use the webform there is no way to add images.

There are several really good and cheap printed Pic rails for the AA rail on eBay. If it has to be pretty kit then Aeron cz make one that is very sweet can be found on sureshot airguns.
