air leak

Wed Aug 31, 2022 1:48 pm

Hi I have a 2003 s400 that has developed a leak, it is leaking round the ball at end of fill valve, does the fill valve need replacing ? and is that straight forward ? I have tried trying to undo but don't seem to keen on loosening lol
thanks

Sounds like you need a new one.
Julian Bond may have some, so give him a ring.

DO NOT loosen (OR try) when the cylinder is charged / pressurised

if you don't want a little suprise anyway :?

safety-first with hpa, ALWAYS vent / drain before work 8-)

ps. sounds like a new 'foster' coupling / fill-valve is needed 8-)

Bleugh!

it is my firm belief that people who declare they have a 'bigger signature than' someone are trying to make up for something else
