A stiff one
Re: A stiff one
Now be fair, Raj and I have been through the mill (Edna) and need a break. You're the obvious choice! A bit younger and good looking (well, a bit of poetic licence maybe!) Just shut your eyes and take the pain!

she approached me one time at the bar `n said, "if you can guess my weight, I`m yours for the night!"
recoiling from the hairy moles on her chin & forehead

she whispered "close enough you jammy bugger!" grabbed me by the throat & dragged me off, I don`t remember much else after that!

Edna may be in her seventies, but shes like a fine wine.
she stinks of wine.

A very good evening to you all
Well, after two days of pressure washing the terraces in our southern abode (700m2 of stone paving) I am about ready for a stiff one
A large gin and tonic, ice but, no lemon thank you and whatever anybody else would like upon this fine, spring evening.
Aye

Re: A stiff one
I may join you with a nice French beer

Did I mention that I'm the only one to have attended EVERY meet since we started
Re: A stiff one
You are most welcome Mr BBF, sadly French beer is not really great (ok as a thirst quencher when it gets really warm), I recommend a large pression with a stiff dose of Picon, anyway do enjoy. The pool to address next week along with gutters etc. then back hame to the north hoping for a spate or six to put a flea on the water and hopefully a bend in the rod
Happy days, I have no idea what the poor people are doing but, it is far too good for them

Re: A stiff one
I ended up having a Abbot ale which is a British beer brewed in Suffolk.

Re: A stiff one
A most sage choice if I may compliment you so, the Greene King brewery, I enjoy their IPA also, but, from that part of the world I must say that I have a soft spot for Adnams the standard bitter particularly and also the many other offerings.
We have hot and cold running whiskey in Scotland (thanks to some rather archaic but, most acceptable dwelling legalities) but, a dearth of decent ale in either location that we call home.
