If you have a Digital Plastic Driving Licence the paper counterpart ceases to be of use after 8th June.
Any points etc will be held on computer at the DVLA.

Hiring a car for example may not be straightforward.

You can check your entitlements to drive and your points before you lose/throw away the paper bit on here.

I never bothered getting a licence ... I would have lost it and got banned in no time anyway
