Le Salvager

my neighbours shed- untouched for years- was going to the dogs, so I asked her if I could have it, if it was salvageable? she doubted it saying the floor was rotten & the roof was a definite basket case, but as long as I took the lot & cleared the space for her, fine.
undeterred, I looked at it from inside & reckoned I could save the old girl-it had been her grandfathers shed before she got it more than 20 years ago!
I should mention I`d already started by taking the roof off ATP, but it had no felt on it for years & was knackered, then I remembered to take a pic before I went any further.

so, a good coat of Butinox, one new floor & roof later-

yeah the door`s a bit buckled but I`ll either repair it or make a new one one later, & the roof needs a (shed :D ) load of work to it yet, just some thick poly sheeting stapled on for now.
this is the dammed stump that was in that spot until last week, chainsaw should give you guys some perspective & idea just how big the ruddy thing was-

PS, I know I made a half hearted joke about my shoulders being sore after using the stump grinder, but, if things don`t improve soon, it`ll be hospital for me tomorrow! trust me, get someone to help you if you ever use a stump grinder, if (like me) you`ve no previous experience of using one!

Good job on the shed.
Worth looking at EPDM for the roof covering.
Hope your shoulder improves.

cheers mate, had to google EPDM just then, that`s what I have on my other shed, left over on a previous job, great stuff though, need to see if I can sneek some felt off of my own job for now!
