Been a week to forget

Fri Apr 24, 2015 7:07 pm

Been a week to forget for one reason and another. If it weren't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all

Just seeing the week out with a nice bottle of port. It's about all I can manage these days, I have it mixed with lemonade and plenty of ice and its sooooooo refreshing!. I'm right off the beer, have been since last October after it started making me feel ill the day after. I think that's why I've lost my appetite for it, funny how your brain suddenly associates something you enjoyed as something that will potentially make you ill.
It's the carbs that create the problem I reckon due to my Diabetes.

So I'm sitting here watching the telly to my left while browsing the net at my desk. Sons at a BBQ at his ma's and number 1 daughter is at the pub. I'm enjoying the peace n quiet and the novelty of having control of MY TV

Quiet on here again tonight, what you chaps up too?

I have seen off 2 pints of Old Hoppy Hen this evening by 7:30 ... A nice clean ale at a decent 4.2%. We watched a Tommy Lee Jones movie and had a meal at home. I did the taxi of dad thing at 11:00 and now reading Total Airguns - Pete Wadeson in bed with a cup of tea :) Just me, GoogleBot and 0 guests 8-)
