Wild out

Well, what a day to pick to go up to the range  :? :o I shaved my napper last night, anyone would have believed me if I said the wind had blew it off today. It was wilder than a wild thing with a Jimmy Saville wig on!

Luckily the indoor 25 meter lanes were free 8-) Stu has this small wind turbine that is knackered and out of control. I could barely hear what my mate Steve was saying when the thing was at full tip! :x  Sooner he gets the bugger down the better.

Still, had a canny day paper punching. :D

I`m 6 floors up on a scaffold, beside a sea loch in scotland, I doubt many of you guys could compare wild with me!
8ft long wooden batons lifted right off the scaffold by the wind, luckily the H&S guy is on the ball, winds over 25mph it`s clear the decks immediately, thank god- at 10st summit soaking wet, I`ve had a few 'moments' I`ll tell you!
today was a write off, we`ll see what tomorrow brings.

The Trent and Mersey canal around Stoke can be absolutely terrifying, the Caldon also but you can go and hide in Harecastle tunnel to get out of the wind. It's he'll out there, worse than rounding the Cape!

I hope it calms down after Easter, I'm off to the middle of the North Sea on Saturday for two weeks. :(
