Well done Leicester.

Well done Leicester and all people involved (including Chanel 4)

The re-burial of a young king killed in battle after 530 years. An event that has never been seen before and will never be seen again.

The victor writes history and the arguments will go on. Shakespeare dammed him but under Tudor influence (he knew which side his bread was buttered).
Was Richard 111 as bad as painted or was he indeed a good king who lead by example, and died for it.

But should he have been buried in York ?
Why be awkward, when with a bit of effort you can be really impossible!

Don't really know.
Both sides had the chance top put forward their claims and Leicester was the choice.

I attended the first ceremony on Sunday morning in the field where the battle was fought --- this was a private ceremony laid on by my freind Alf who's farm contains the battlefield :-
