I was having withdrawal symptoms Ray.
So as i was passing nearby, i thought i'd call in and see Mick for an hour or so and take him one of my favourite Pork Pie's.
It was good to see him and have a chat :D
...and i think he's on the mend now :D

yesterday and the day before yesterday it got up to 60f...guys were riding their motorcycles around (not me)...today it's 30f and snowing with steadily dropping temps, 4 to 7 inches predicted with at least 4 on the ground right now, that's after raining all last night and this morning until it got cold enough to snow, so tomorrow morning it will be snow covered ice...how nice...zing in the depths of despair...

SNowing heavy here but it's not sticking very well the wind is blowing it into drifts, the roads and cars are clear of snow.

Completely snowed in here in Perthshire. Nothing can move on the minor roads - even the snow ploughs aren't making it - and the main roads are either closed or empty. Funny thing is there's been no major blizzards, just snow shower after snow shower dropping dry granules that make it just about impossible for any vehicle to move. I've driven my 4x4 Suzuki in the French Alps many times in much deeper snow than this, but right now I just can't go anywhere.

Oh well, plenty of wine in the cellar....
