I know the feeling Tim.........

My father passed away 10 years ago this month :(

I still have his "Trilby", hanging in my shed, above his bench. Just can't let it go. :(

Just buried my Dad Saturday before last. He had been battling dementia for several years and it seems he's been gone for a while. I have 2 younger sisters and the one 2 years younger is a fine sister, just as yours was. The one that's 8 years younger is a different story. Dad wasn't even cold yet when she started demanding a certain pistol of Dad's. I've had the thing since 2000 and had traded it away 9 years ago. She told my Mom that she had better get the gun or her and Mom were finished. All this before the funeral even happened. I can't believe this, but I know how she has always been.

It's a tradition here for families to fight over trivia at funerals . I think it's part of grieving.

It is almost Two years ago since my cousin took his own life. I still have his number in my phone, it will remain there, can't bring myself to remove it.
