been colder than usual and more snow than usual, all coming in waves...we had two weeks where the evening windchills were below zero (f) and snow up the ying yang (old 7th grade phrase meaning ass)...it's snowing now and we're in for about a foot today on top of the 8 or so inches we already had...schools are closed, snow plows are only running on the main roads and we're socked in until tomorrow sometime...ho hum diddly dum...hope all is well with you...zp...

this isn't snowman snow, this is what the folks that hit the slopes call "powder"...you couldn't make a snowball with it...plenty of it though...zp...

saturday 1:30pm and it's still snowing...there is over a foot in the backyard and it's all powder...it's not coming down hard but it is relentless...zing of the north...

It was 89 F yesterday in good old central Florida. I sure wish I could could trade a bit of that in for a bit of your chill. 89 in Feb. is just wrong.

i have one friend over here and he lives in tampa...we talk every week and he comes up every few years (usually a death in the family), he stays here...i went there in 91 or 92 in february, it was 75f down there and -8f up here...i made them turn on the air conditioning, they wore jackets at night when it was 65f...i feel for you fp but i just can't reach...florida is a steam bath...we should all live in san diego...zing of the frozen frontier...

winter storm warning again today up to 6 more inches of accumulation on top of the metric sh!t ton we already have...it is pretty but the roads, i counted 9 vehicles off the highway in the 35 mile trip to the gym yesterday morning, black ice...on the way home a semi was off the road and up into the trees pointing in the wrong direction...maybe a mile or two past that was a car sideways blocking both lanes...people of michigan, it's winter, you can't make it to work in the same time you did when there wasn't ice and snow on the roads, mercy...citizen zing...
