Eclipse?
Eclipse?
Who looked out for it? I got prepared for it this morning and judging by the cloud cover at 8 ish I didn't think there was a chance of seeing anything. Miraculously by half eight the skies started to clear and we had a grandstand view, assisted by a welding mask or two. Hopefully I got a few good pictures of it and the moment was made when my 3 year old daughter looked through the mask and asked why the moon was out I tried to explain it wasn't the moon, was actually the sun then thought about it and as they say "out of the mouths of babes" etc. Personally I thought it was a magic experience and somehow it seems to have made more of an impression on me than the 1999 one

Re: Eclipse?
I missed it thanks to a bad nights sleep for one reason and another Gutted as I thought it would be just another over hyped occasion like the one in 1999.

Re: Eclipse?
I got a great pic through the mobile phone camera which compensates for the brightness. Not a cloud in the sky here at Rugby yesterday morning so it was a brilliant experience.
