No wind or rain here yet but its is very dark. So dark its eerie, I have had to put the lights on in the house.

Apparently Ophillia chucked up a load of dust into the atmosphere
If the wind stays like it is now (25 mph, gusting 45mph) it wont be too bad for us .. For folk with more wind, stay safe and I hope no damage for you all

Its dry and warm but its very very windy

i'm recuperating in amble up geordieland for a few weeks wind got up at teatime last night and got bit rough about 8 clock the lifeboat was called out to a boat with a failed engine. i felt sea sick watchin em go out 
they were towing the broken down boat back to amble, last i heard, and the bloke on it was safe an sound 
i think those RLNI fellas are brave and mad in equal measures

From where I live I can also see the life boat go out, it is a job for the brave no doubt,i couldn't do it for love or money.
