Royal Mail AGAIN !!!!

Fri Mar 20, 2015 5:24 pm

Would you ever figure the mentality of the average postman?

Today, I bumped into the postman delivering my many small envelopes/parcels for my Night Vision build, he says "Hello Mr Andy, nice to see you" I return the pleasantries’ and its a lovely day etc. He then asks me "did you get the parcel that I put in your refuge bin the other day?" "No" I said, then it all sank in, what a total plonker!!! He then said he had put a card through the door saying it was in a "SAFE PLACE" I didn't see or get the card and my bin was emptied an hour before I seen him.... Is it me or are these people total idiots, over the last 3 months I have had letters not delivered to my son in Canterbury, and one that did arrive got there empty which held a £20 note, a book of stamps and a electronic room key which he left behind. Is it really worth the price of postage? Its the service we have to put up with considering there is no other competition?

Had my moan, Sorry.

Thankfully they're not all like it!
Is it worth making a claim? after all the bin is a stupid place isn't it?
Our postie is a bit of a gem, puts letters through the letterbox but anything that doesn't fit he'll let himself up the garden and put it through the catflap in the back door.

Hi Tim... Mate, I was gobsmacked, behind the bin ok, even a drop over the garden fence, but in the bin
At this moment I don't exactly know what has gone missing, all I know it was to big to go through the letterbox and small enough to fit in the bin. It could be anything, I have put various orders in all over the place for stuff to do a Night Vision build and have been receiving parcels every day for a while now. It may just be a 12v 2amp charger (not yet received) but it could be the NV camera too.... When I know I will decide to claim or not. The charger is £8.00 which is not worth the hassle the camera is £60 which is a little different..

OMG some clever chap hey. We had one deliver our letters at work the other day. The wind picked up and the letters for blew out of his hand and down the canal bank. He looked strait at me and said "dont worry they weren't yours" and walked off leaving them there :o
I hope you get things sorted.

Did I mention that I'm the only one to have attended EVERY meet since we started
