The use of vehicles and knives again. I'd rather walk the fields on a fruitless hunt than a city street, it's safer.
The early bird may get the worm, but it's the second one mouse that gets the cheese.

Or maybe he got what I wish for every one of the sick, twisted weirdos that are extremists. Sadly there are innocents killed and hurt again.
There are no answers or solutions that I can think of that don't involve lowering ourselves to their standards.
Re: attacks in london
In some of the pictures, you will notice that the attacker's trousers have been taken down. Paramedics looked for his balls but were surprised to find that he had none.

Re: attacks in london
LBC and Talk Radio had Quentin Letts' chilling eye witness report of the attack on PC Palmer (two officers jumped on the terrorist but then one suffered multiple stabbing) and the shooting with pistols by the plain clothes police protection guards. Took a few seconds start to finish.
I would not do that job without at least a side arm but he would not have had time to draw it anyway according to witnesses.
Also just seen moving tributes to PC Palmer, who was formerly Royal Artillery, by MPs today.

He had been on a watch list in the past. Same thing as past attackers here. The law comes to see you, so you play like a good boy for a few years and they forget about you. If the original interest was genuine, there must be something more that could have been done.

He was on the list only by association to someone else, his last criminal conviction was 14 years ago.
I was going to travel that exact route later that day to collect Debbie, I do it a few times a month.
Working in central London for the past 16 years you are aware that these things may happen but you put your faith in the security services and carry on. I was there again today as were millions of others, Whilst my condolences go to the families of the injured & deceased I am glad it was such a small number compared to what could have been!
