Junk mail.

Hi all
A rant about all the crappy junk mail I get posted through door. All of it with my name and address plastered all over it, just waiting for some low life to find it and us it for identity fraud. Loads of it from banks or credit card companies with paperwork to apply for a loan or a new credit card. :x :x
What i normaly do with these is burn them. Then if there is a pre paid envelope with the crap i post the empty envelope back to them.
It gives me a small amount of pleasure knowing they are paying for the return post.
If anybody is sick of this junk mail, think about sending back the pre paid envelopes. They may not be so keen to send out junk mail if enough people are sending empty envelopes back to them and costing them a fortune.
Sorry for the rant :D :D
Kevin

No, there's a better way.
Save them up until you have a few, then fill out all the forms giving the name and address of your local MP, double glazing firm, police station or similar and then post them back. Then visualise the results and have a good chuckle!

or tape the returns envelope too a house brick covered in brown paper and drop it off at the local post office...I`ve never tried it but I wonder if it would be accepted by the post office

I have been doiong the returning any crap back in the pre-paid envelope for about 15 years now. Keeps the posties in a job, makes me feel better and irritates the senders of junk mail ..... Win-Win-Win :)

I have little junk mail now, but continued to have leaflets galore coming through the letter box. My solution; I now charge £15.00 for each and every unsolicited item put through my letter box. It has now virtually stopped except by those who cannot read. ! or 2 leaflets a month max, usually charity bags.

Saw a guy over here that welcomed and tried hard to get on all the mailing lists he could. He had a wood burning heater and he heated his home with the junk mail.
