Speaking of BA in a way, I met one of their cabin crew on holiday and she told me about one of her fellow trainees when they first joined the company.
The trainers introduction to BA included this piece of info.

"We work a 40 hour week but only get paid for 38, so every 4 weeks you get a day in lieu."
