Meir Heath! Says a lot if you've been lucky enough to drive through there and I mean drive through.
The early bird may get the worm, but it's the second one mouse that gets the cheese.

aye up Raj me owd duck, at owe rate dine rugby ? ;)
you know my views on the misuse of air rifles mate :( its rare for the evening sentinel to go longer than a week without reporting misuse of air rifles :x
cats seem to bare the brunt of it, but pigeons in local parks, ducks on the canals, swans on lakes, and even people at bus stops are often targeted.
there are strict laws and penalties in place for the misuse of air rifles, it just needs the police to turn up when they receive a report of someone misusing an air rifle, and then take it from there. if the police consider an offence to have been committed, then prosecute.
unless the police/magistrates uphold the law concerning the misuse of air rifles, we will continue hearing reports of these incidents, and the police will always be ''appealing for information'' regarding them.
its common to see a couple of likely lads walking along the canal, or around lakes, 1 with an air rifle, and t'other with a fishing rod with a pike plug/spinner set up.
moron 1 shoots duck, moron 2 retrieves it with fishing rod. threats and abuse to members of the public who question their antics, police appealing for information :x
